Non-Religious

A man was born -- son of nature, son of universe. A regular human being. This human being was able to understand the meaning of life. He understood what living was all about, that everything and everyone in peace with each other would work out a lot better for everyone. Christians call him "Jesus". But to us, it is irrelevant what his name was. Jesus was a philosopher, doctor, scientist. People thought that he understood philosophy of life a lot more than anyone else. He was followed by thousands -- he was worshiped. Back then, the only explanation for this phenomena was an ancient scripture that prophesied a birth of man who would save the world. A man who would bring peace and salvation to all humanity. Jesus was then labeled to be "son of the God." He claimed to be son of the universe, who has been given a vision. Jesus tried to educate everyone about his logical philosophical views. But he was rejected when religious churches and cults started to tell everyone not to listen to him. People listened to the priests somehow, perhaps because it was more socially accepted to trust priests, and thus he was killed. He was a very smart man, with extraordinary powers. With his logic he was able to control his "spirit", which is analogous to software (vs hardware). He moved his soul to the next one by simply teaching his only main student of his ways. When Jesus died, his student took over and continued his master's teachings.

Lucid Dreaming or Unclear Waking?

As many have probably realized this already, "Lucid Dreaming" is now a term with it's own popular acronym, "LD." Lucid dreaming is not quite what some people think it is. As many of us have already found out, LD-ing is simply taking control of your dreams. This may or may not mean that eventually, as LD becomes accepted by the scientific community, the practice will be used for simply living twice as long. That's right, twice as long. Just kidding. Twice as long is not good enough. Well then, how about... forever. It is theoretically possible to live forever.

Relatively speaking, you can simply slow down time by exponentially decreasing the relative speed of time inside your dream. Thus, extending your life very close to forever.

How would we, engineers and scientists, would describe this to ourselves. How about we start at the fact that a human being is able to accelerate or slow down time, correct? Sometimes days last too long, nights too short? Some unforgettable moments seem to whither away in a blink of an eye, and disappear forever?

A dream is a mind trick. A mind trick that works solely to allow the body and mind to rest. It creates a random sequence of short life events (mini-dreams) that come and go, and sometimes seem to be so incomplete -- so lacking of something. Dreams are not isolated from our world. Dreams affect all of our daily life. We remember events that happen in dreams, and they affect our choices made in life, even if it done on a subconscious level.

Taking control of dreams means that you no longer are powerless and weak against the supreme force that seems to throw you around inside your own mind like a toy. It does what it wants -- it talks and you have no choice but to hear it all. A lucid dream is a method of breaking free of that force. A fully-controlled lucid dream has endless possibilities. A lucid dream, for example, can be used to improve yourself at various skills you are not capable learning in the wake life. It may eventually be overused, but it is a possibility that we may one day, with the aid of evolution, be able to "hack" our own central neural system. Why? In order to use it to extend our lives. An entire life can be lived inside your dream, totally private to you, and almost no one else from your wake life can be a part of it. Almost no one.

Evolution or just a hidden ability, it doesn't matter what you label it as. It is what it is, and it is very peculiar. Very worthy of being locked down in the insane asylum.

Go try it if you haven't. Google "lucid dreaming", or search Wikipedia for techniques of entering an LD. Most importantly, have fun!

Good luck.

Battle

No sense.

There is something horrible that is going on.

Me, my sister and my mother are inside the house, and we must flee to safety. We know death is inevitable, but our hopes are not lost. We take as much food and water as we can and run to the basement. It feels like the world is going to end.

Once in the basement, we wait. After some time passes, we start noticing that they have found us. The ground starts moving and the walls start cracking. Here they come. Approximately the size of a soccer ball, some strange bug-like creatures start crawling out of the walls and the ground. I grab what I can use as a weapon and attempt to defend us with all I got. It is now evident that we will not win. After a few minutes of bug squashing, the main figure appears.

It comes very close to me, as my mother and sister stand behind me watching in terror, it then pulls out a weapon of some sort, puts it to my forehead at point-blank range, and fires. As I fall, everything starts to fade out... everyone appear to be in slow motion... I hear my mother and sister scream... then everything goes dark.

After an unknown amount of time passes, I wake up in a hospital, and find out that my right side of the brain was significantly damaged. The doctors tell me that both my mother and sister are dead. But I already knew that. I remember everything. I walk out of the hospital with someone who I know, but not really sure who. And that is where it ends.

I still don't know what happened. This is the end of my dream, but the beginning and some details are lost.

Fly

No sense.

I jump off of a building, and as I approach the ground, I start to decelerate.

At first, I am able to fly freely however I want, at whatever height I like. Eventually, I start realizing that flying is impossible -- my logic kicks in. To be in a sleep mode, a human brain must disable the ability to think logically. At least, that is my theory. Once my logic kicks in, my realization of this fact slowly starts to affect my ability to fly.

I jump from a high ground once more. Now I hover perhaps 30 feet above the ground. It's more of a glide, than hover, though. After a while, I loose my ability to fly completely.

Now, there is a hole, or a big crack in the ground. It appears to be bottomless. There is only one way around it. I take the way, and start to slowly slip off into the hole until I am no longer able to hold on, and I fall. I am quickly consumed by the darkness. I am afraid, but do not fear of dying, for I know this is only a dream. I know how my death usually ends in my dreams. I respawn, I reboot, I come back to life, I am given another chance, like usual.

So, I am back on the path, once again trying to get across this big hole in the ground.

The rest is lost.

The path is clearly visible now. Walk it with confidence.

The knowledge is yours now:

It only takes one decision of only one person. A decision to make it happen. The solution to all problems of the world, has just one simple solution. One single person was given possession of an unlimited amount of power. You. No one else has it, but you. You possess the greatest power in the world. What some of us call "God" is so simple. The "God" is you. The God himself is within you. You are the temple of God. There is no one else, everyone is simply one single being, interconnected by the bonds. We are one incredible organism.

For the good and happiness of all. The knowledge is power. The only way to harness its unlimited energy is to use it properly.
